On June 25th, the 26th China·Qinghai Green Development Investment and Trade Fair opened in Xining, China. Zhang Chuanwei, Chairman of Ming Yang Group, was invited to attend the fair and delivered a keynote speech as a corporate representative. 

In his speech, Zhang Chuanwei pointed out that Ming Yang has been a pioneer and a guardian of Qinghai's new energy sector. Fifteen years ago, Ming Yang embarked on the journey of manufacturing wind turbines and building wind farms on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. In Delingha, Haixi, Ming Yang established the world's highest-altitude wind turbine manufacturing center. Ming Yang successively launched the first and the first batch of wind turbines customized for the plateau's special environment. These turbines are technologically advanced and have independent intellectual property rights. Ming Yang has turned the impossible into the possible and opened the door to the vast new energy resources on the plateau.

Zhang Chuanwei said that as a participant and promoter of Qinghai's green development and the creation of the "Three Gorges of the Plateau," Ming Yang has driven the large-scale and economical development of Qinghai's wind power through its mid-speed permanent magnet semi-direct drive technology products, which are customized for the plateau's low wind speeds. At present, Qinghai has about 73 million kilowatts of clean energy installed capacity, equivalent to three Three Gorges power stations. Meanwhile, as an important complementary energy source in Qinghai's power system, wind power has built an integrated clean energy system of wind, solar, and hydro power. Qinghai has also built the world's first ultra-high voltage power transmission project for the bundled transmission of 100% clean energy - the Qinghai-Henan DC project. The project has the capacity to transmit more than ten million kilowatts of clean energy.

Under the accelerated global "double carbon" process and the superposition of the "net zero mechanism," the national strategy of developing new energy in deserts, Gobi, and barren lands is opening up a "new blue sea" for new energy. Ming Yang is determined to be an innovator and contributor to the development of new energy in deserts, Gobi, and barren lands. Through the planned "Qing-Guangxi DC" and "Power Transmission Channel to Guangdong" projects, Ming Yang will support the comprehensive green transition of the Greater Bay Area and even more coastal areas. At the same time, Ming Yang will transform natural resources into industrial and developmental advantages. With the cost advantage of green electricity, it will drive the development of new materials, new industries, new business forms, and large application scenarios. Ming Yang will build a new system of green modern economy and create new industrial pillars.
