Wailuo Offshore Wind Power Project, located in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province,is plannaed to be equipped with 36 sets of MySE5.5-155 wind turbines with a total capacity of 198MW. The windfarm has the medium-weathered rock stratum with sandy soil and clay geology, the monopile foundation is finally chosen for the purpose achieve cost optimization that depend on the diameter of 6.5-7m which is applicable within water depth of 19m through the multiple round of iterative computations jointly carried out by the design institute and MingYang.The construction of the first monopile foundation is completed before June 30, 2018.
