Nanpeng Island Offshore Wind Power Project,located in Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province,the wind farm has a sand, clayand moderately weathered geology, with the water depth between 22m and 31m.Considering the convenience of construction, single pile and jacket foundationsare chosen for the purpose of cost optimization. Hence development in this seaarea with a ten-minute average wind speed of 7.5m/s has significant economicvalue. Hitherto the piling work of the first three jacket foundations has beencompleted.
