The Zhuhai GuishanOffshore Project is the first green wind power demonstration project in Chinathat uses jacket foundations, consisting of 27 units of MySE3.0-112anti-typhoon wind turbines. The Project successfully withstood the test ofSuper Typhoon Mangkhut with extreme speed of 70 m/s. The wind farm is locatedat the Lingdingyang Bay in Zhuhai, and its straight way distance to the HongKong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is only about 10 km. This model of wind turbines hasexcellent noise performance and environmental adaptability. The Project had nosignificant impact on the normal activities of nearby marine mammals during theconstruction of the wind farm, although it is adjacent to the Chinese WhiteDolphin National Nature Reserve in the Pearl River Estuary. Since itscompletion, the wind farm has attracted a large number of marine lives and rarefishes to inhabit, forage and multiply here and become a paradise for marinelives, thus making the previous desolate sea area into the green energydemonstration base with harmonious coexistence of human and the nature.
